New Walk - Again
Bear and I went on another adventure (eek). This time to a huge heath land about 15 minutes away in the car, we didn't do the longest walk due to the weather starting to turn (you know, when that grey cloud appears and the wind really picks up), so we turned around about then, and perfectly got back to the car just as the downpour started. Half yay for getting back to the car, half boo because we wanted to keep going! The walk ended up being almost dead on 2 miles. Now for pictures!

Woof-Box! January
My Woof-Box arrived! This is my first box from this company so I was super excited about it! First of all it arrived quicker than I expected, which is always a good thing (they say they are dispatched around the 14th and then to allow 4 days for delivery, but mine arrived on the 15th).
Woof-Box is a month subscription service to a box of surprise goodies each month, they come in three sizes (I got the small and scrumptious) depending on the size of your pooch. The cost of this box series from £21.99 to £17.99 depending on how many months boxes you purchase.

First impressions
Arrived quickly which was great, the box seemed rather light which wasn't reassuring and the packaging wasn't as cute as other boxes (although it did has some nice bright yellow tissue paper). However, we all know its the contents that really counts!
What's in the box
Lily Kitchen Fish Skin Chews
Lily's is one of those companies that I love the idea of the products and the company view point. We have actually tried these before and I know that Jet loves them, and Bear will chew them for a tiny bit before leaving them for Jet. Word of warning, they make whatever room they are in smell like creek water (oh and fishy paws and kisses)!
Ingredients: 100% pure Icelandic fish skins (great)!
RRP = £3.99 for 75g
Billy + Margot
Popcorn for Dogs
I've wanted to try these products for a while, the popcorn is air popped and coated with seaweed. So it is a fairly healthy and nutritious snack.
Ingredients: Maize (corn), seaweed.
RRP = £1.99 for 20g
Venison Treats for Dogs
My pups love venison, so they look like good treats, however if you have a small dog like me, you may want to cut them up some more!
Ingredients: Venison meat, collagen casing.
RRP = £4.24 for 75g
Pooch & Mutt Fresh Breath Biscuits
Another company I like (well Bear loves their puppy treats), it is also a natural is best type of company (yay)! These I can't seem to find online so I am not sure on a price for them. I do love that Pooch & Mutt do 'Pooch Point' (a reward scheme) and this came with a point on the back.
Ingredients: Oats, rice, rye, chicken oils & fats, peppermint oil, parsley, chicory, tuck, rosemary extract.
Good Life Gear's Pet Water Bottle
How cute is this! This clever design has a roller ball at the top, so when the doggie licks more water comes out. Smart.
I like that its stainless steel, and that it has a clip to attach it to your bag/belt or whatever.
This is something that will get used, but I doubt I would have ever bought myself.
RRP = varies but around £12.99
Overall
The overall retail value of this box comes to £23.21 plus the value of the Pooch & Mutt treats, so say at least £25. Which is more than I paid for the box itself. I do like the brands of treats in this box, and the water bottle is interesting and a great idea. I'm a touch disappointed that there isn't any kind of toy in the box though. The fast dispatch was a happy surprise.
4/5 - A toy would have made it fabulous.

New Walk!
As part of my new year resolutions i want to explore new places with Bear. So we started our adventure!
I knew of this little patch of woodland but had never visited, it is about a five minute drive away and the route walked is a mile long, a perfect little walk! When Bear and I visited (around midday) there was no one else there!

I'm glad I set myself this as something I should do, as straight away we found somewhere that is going to be one of our regular shorter walks!

New Years Resolutions With Your Pooch!
Definition:
- A New Year's resolution is a tradition, most common in the Western Hemisphere but also found in the Eastern Hemisphere, in which a person makes a promise to do an act of self-improvement or something slightly nice, such as opening doors for people beginning from New Year's Day.What about you? Did you make your resolutions? Are you one of the 8% (8%!!!!!) of people that actually keeps your resolutions? The most common resolutions are to keep fit, eat better, lose weight and be happier, now we all know that if you give yourself specific targets, you are far more likely to actually stick to them. Such as to lose two stone in 2015 is much better than lose weight this year.What about with your fur babies? I know I made a few with Bear specifically in mind.1) To map how much we walk in 2015To do this I've been using Runmeter, it measures how far, how fast and how many calories you burn, I especially like it due to the map being fairly accurate (so i don't get lost on new walks).2) To do a new walk every weekTo start with i'm going to find all the local areas I just haven't discovered yet (a lot of google searching a google map using), after that maybe a few walks further away, and after that, i'm going to go down some paths that I don't normally (or never have) tried!3) To keep up my mini training walks with BearSo this is a walk where we stop and run through his training a few times, work on lead control and play games. Its generally only a short distance, its more brain exercise.4) Daily grooming and teeth brushingA Pomeranian is just a ball of fluff with legs. Brushing is a MUST. Bear isn't too keep on his teeth being brushed, but we're keeping at it.Personally I have another two which are to setup and run my Etsy shop and to start running again.So far....Not so good, I got that nasty bug on the 1st of January (typical) so a few have been neglected, but they will still be done through the rest of the year!Harriet-Kristinaxoxohttps://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/PupsTreasureTrove?ref=hdr_shop_menu
